Seems like this is prevalent in every single match of BTB. Get betrayed a bunch boot the betrayers then we are down half a team and get smashing which equals no very much fun at all. Next game get the same guys who betrayed last time, vicious cycle of annoyance. In Big team slayer, Neutral Assault on Standoff the br's does not respawn. Even if you time them, they want respawn for the rest for the game. Play the gametype on the map.

You can't tell by going to Forge or a custom game. The settings are - as far as I an tell - correct. The match composer is great in theory but for CE it is still pulling the gametypes from the old playlist that wasnt very good at all. I really hope the custom games browser is close because that should fix most of the main issues me and the people i try to play with have lack of decent gametypes.

Halo 4 Infection games on Forge Island are incredibly laggy and unplayable at the start of the match. This has happened every I've gotten a game on Forge Island, but no other maps seem to be affected for some reason. It's also the only map so far where I've lagged out of games entirely. What happened to the West US network?

I may be wrong, but I think that is one of the reasons why I can't seem to find any players while searching in a playlist, let alone in the match composer. I see the Social Slayer playlist is still predominantly Halo Please make a Halo 3 slayer playlist so we can get that trash out of the social slayer playlist, or at least make the game weightings even.

Right now it's obvious isn't even trying. Makes me want to vomit pig -Yoink- all over myself every single time Halo 3 comes up. I've played pistol start gems on maps such as Isolation, and Ghost Town. Due to the scope of these changes, this patch will unfortunately invalidate mid-mission checkpoints for the Halo: This means that after the update, you'll still have access to the missions you have currently unlocked but you'll lose your checkpoint save from mid-mission progress. Since the August update, the team has made a few configuration changes that have helped some players, but not everyone. In the latest update we are altering our networking code so players who are located near low-population servers will now have access to a designated high-population server with the best available connection. If players are not active, they will not be removed from a game, but instead be removed from matchmaking searches by no longer queueing up for additional matches.

A bug was found by the community after the August update where players could lose network connection and continue to rank up in Halo 2 Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4. This has been fixed in this update. With the update in late August we changed how hosting worked in Matchmaking from peer-to-peer to dedicated servers. However, a bug was found where, in very rare cases or through an exploit, the system would cause a matchmade game to fall back to a peer-to-peer model.

We have isolated the code and altered it so if a player is unable to connect to a dedicated server you no longer have any option to start a matchmade game in a peer-to-peer situation for host. We are continuing our efforts to investigate what players have been talking about regarding aiming, aim sensitivity, and how it feels in game. Instead, the team would ideally like to offer even greater player customization options for control settings.

The team has some prototypes already in our internal builds and they're exploring options for adding a finer level of calibration and customization. Such a feature would give players the ability to have more control over sensitivity and aim acceleration in a future update.

  6. As we learn more we will continue to update on this topic. The game variant settings for the Team Hardcore Playlist for Suicide and Betrayals has been updated in this patch. Once the build is live, we will update the playlist to use these corrected gametypes.     We have it on our radar and are looking to schedule it in at some point where this work can align with other fixes that require the same assets to be rebuilt and not force multiple large updates. We are continuing to investigate instances where players appear to be matching groups that are outside of their team sizes as well as players outside of the rank bounds set forth in ranked Matchmaking.

    We will update this in the future when we have a targeted fix for this issue. Nameplates are a great way to show off what you have accomplished in-game and help you rep to others what you are all about in MCC. We are making some changes by adding in additional nameplates as well as adjusting a few that were previously granted to all.

    Below is a list of some of the new nameplates which includes those for MCC Insiders being granted in the coming weeks and others that will be obtainable by different means. Manually granted to players whose content makes it into Matchmaking. Granted to players who play with or against during an official event.
