My original hypothesis of low pop was based on my games earlier, and Carvin's games. Although, I just had another 20 games in the I only got 3 of those weird MM games. Not as bad as the 5 previously. Actually, there was a short period when MM was almost ideally good. Means, if they want, they can. It is not difficult at all to spread 14 payers equally between 2 teams. But they do not want.
I do not believe that they would be so unprofessional to mess the things up unintentionally, yet that is certainly a possibility.
I have to admit I've seem some crazy match ups in the last couple of days which included but def not limited to. It doesn't make it a fun game when you're bottom tier and you're basically forced to use premmo and hope your top tiers know what they're doing.

It might be a bug, who knows, but something definitely changed, as we never saw this type of MM in such frequent basis. You were also the one that said NA didn't have a server crash on Friday, and yet they are seeing the same type of MM. Therefore it seems the source of the issue was the 2. Absolutely terrible per the earlier posts. Why not just give some players points wotb and be done with it?

Downtime is going longer than expected. We will update players as soon as we have more information. Fortnite developer Epic Games has posted a new update about the downtime. See for yourself in this weeks patch notes!
Fortnite servers are down, as Epic takes the game offline ahead of two major updates. One update will deal with bug fixes and new content releases, while the other will fix server issues. Developer Epic Games confirmed that Fortnite Matchmaking will be disabled while the new patches are deployed.
New content includes a new Chug Jug item that can be used to fully heal health and shields in Battle Royale mode. What're you pumped for? On top of the new Fortnite update, Epic is also deploying new server changes to the North America region. Servers will be split into separate regions based on whether you live in east or west North America. The Fortnite servers remain offline, and there's currently no ETA on when they'll be back. There's still no word on when Fortnite will be back online and matchmaking enabled.
