Every f**king time i get a winning streak of + wins in a row the matchmaking starts doing some crazy sh*t and slams me into the ground. EVERY F**KING.

High priority is granted when a player is returned to queue after a recently failed matchmaking attempt due to another player failing to connect to the game or declining the Ready Check. Players may be banned from matchmaking for a period of time due to several offenses. Match quality is presumably determined by a combination of the player's behavior score and their account flags value. Players with a high behavior score get matched with other players with a high score and vice versa.

The account flags supposedly determine in which matchmaking pool a player should be, independently of their mmr and behavior score. The current behavior score and account flags can be checked using the Console through the commands. The behavior score shows as grades.

While Normal being the highest and F being the lowest. Valve has not disclosed how these scores are calculated, but abandons , reports and commends seem to play a role. Account flags are represented as an integer value. Most players report having an account flag value of 0, 1 or 3. It is known that account flags with values 7 indicates that a 6-month ban is imminent on the account, but there is no known effect on matchmaking.

Shadowpool is a status placed on an account that is typically assigned to players who have abused of exploits in the past. Shadowpool status is not reported anywhere client-side. The shadowpool status can either be permanent or temporary. However, this information can only potentially be revealed through a request to the Steam support. They can match you up with players who, strictly judging from data, are at an equal skill level with you; however, they can't make that douche-copter on your team not pick Riki after you already have AM.

Generally speaking, if you want try hard games play CM. If you want games with a lot more derp potential, play AP. To minimize the derp, play more CM. Unfortunately solo-queue CM doesn't guarantee you a good game: I have played plenty of CM games with the regular queue derpy trash players that have no business in games above the feeder bracket. This is from the first page but complete inability to analyze statistics is always hilarious to me. Now if that's not a pro player. Hoveringmover, are we gonna see you at the International?

Coz I didn't see your card in dota2 man: I tell you one thing: I bet many people cried because they had this noob invoker you in their team. NOT only single queue.

Matchmaking should be 50% chance to win, not 50% winrate [Archive] - Dota2 Dev

They say that they play with their friends and the 3 others in their team are retards. Its an alternate account. Smurf detection kicks in very early. YOU start turn on your brain and discuss like someone who has at least a bit intelligence please. If you dont like to hear the truth, then dont argument. Its just you guys, who are not skilled enough to have a higher winrate in pubs. I am still open for arguments. There are many easy ways to exploit pubs.

Its your fault for picking shitty heros and then wondering about your winrate! The game is designed to allow you to have a chance at winning but there are many, many factors that will shift this balance one way or the other hero picks, counters, lane setups, player skill, first blood, runes, etc. If you have a bad player on your team, chances are that the enemy team has a player that is equally as bad.

The problem is that you aren't taking advantage of that bad player while the enemy does. What are you basing the rankings on? Not the team you create and match up against other 5 man stacks.

Number of wins is the end all be all for matchmaking, but it should play a role. The biggest issue I have is how matchmaking riggs the system so that you have a super high chance to lose a game because you've "won too much" lately, so it gives you worse players against better players.

This is the most true and constructive post on the forums, take notes Valve! A-farm B- split push, i had to take BY MYSELF bottom tower and every damn time i tried to take top tower they just keep going and engage to try to finish and calling me a noob, i say: I had last hits that game, i pulled many MANY items, lvl 25 and i lost Wrong, it's not a big sample size at all. I know some people that play half their games on 1 hero.

When players can't play all heroes well, it lends itself to League of Legends style games and complacency. I think you mean when all players can play all heros well, lol ectecetecect. I think you mean when all players can play all heros well, lol ectecetecectIf you think a person's skill matters if he only plays 2 heroes well, think again.

Say hello to Captain's Mode and if the opponents want to, they can make sure he loses every game.

Matchmaking Rating

If you think a person's skill matters if he only plays 2 heroes well, think again. Pretty sure bulldog just won TI3. Pretty sure bulldog just won TI3It can't be helped if the majority of the teams he was up against failed to respond properly to those heroes. It doesn't mean that's all he can play, it just means it was all he needed to play.

Matchmaking

It can't be helped if the majority of the teams he was up against failed to respond properly to those heroes. The quality of players that typically find themselves in very high replay brackets is not particularly reliable Oh yeah, you only can play 2 heroes? Sounds great, cry all year long about how neither of those heroes can beat Phantom Lancer or Anti-Mage or whatever hero played by a decent player with your pathetic skills!

That's right, this MM needs all the excuses it can get. Honestly, lobby system like in WC3 is far more effective than matchmaking. I'd like to see valve abandon matchmaking and implement lobby system or maybe implement both simultaneously like in HoN. Only people that waaaay overestimate their skill are unhappy with the matchmaking. Yes, bad games happen. Yes, some people feed.

New Dota 2 Matchmaking System Overview - How To Play Dota 2 - glohi.xsrv.jp

Yes, people refusing to speak English can be annoying. But all in all - you are where you belong. Most of the people who complain play in the games labelled as "Normal". If you're not playing at the very top of the "Very High" matches or the very bottom of the "Normal" matches, then your teammates and your enemies are more or less on your level. Obiously player performance is subject to random fluctuations. So called good and bad days. The systems explicitly tells them that by pairing them up with equally bad teammates.

Everyone plays in the games labelled as "Normal".

You were placed in the "High" games almost right away. This is a blatant lie. The quality of games are so poor, there are stomps everywhere. This isn't the result of awesome matchmaking.
