Spent two nights here. We just stopped here overnight on our way east and I am glad that we only stayed overnight because I wouldn't want to be here for two nights. Very little improvements have been done in this park, just a grass area with hookups and poor gravel roads. Even the office is in poor shape. Grass has grown up about a foot high around a lot of the campers which means that they are there long term, mostly people that work in the area.
I definitely wouldn't want to stay here again. This is not a campground. This is a transient facility for tradesmen, i. Some people live here year round, by the looks of the sites and campers. No restrictions on how old your rig is.. Rates to me are too high. People come in all hours of the night. You will get a tongue lashing if you go over the speed limit of 10 MPH. Many run down sites. No buffer for noise control. I needed this facility as a place to stay while on contractual work in the area.
Otherwise, I would avoid.
Very rude people as well as workers living there. Not worth the time or money to put up with drunks throwing things.
It was better to leave. Easy in, easy out. No sewer but perfect for a one-night stop. They give you a small discount on food in the casino restaurants how else will they get non-gamblers in there otherwise? Our dinner at 99 Hops was excellent and so was our server. Buffet breakfast was lukewarm but was included in the campsite rate.
Easy place to get into with big rig, if you can't get a pull through any outer loop site that has 50 amp looked like it could take a 45 foot coach. The outside loop sites the concrete was short but since it was dry no problem back off the edge and lots of rv's doing it. You are in a busy area but with all the trees surrounding this place it almost felt like the country, I was surprised. Most of the sites good for sat but of course the one we had blocked but no problem missing the HD.
Oh if you are into water parks at the back is a trail that takes you to Splash Station. We stayed a couple of days for business in area it was convenient and enjoyable. Plenty open area for the dog. All the outside loop had trees at back of space so the campers with smaller rigs felt at home. We'll go back some day. This is a very neat, clean, quiet RV park behind a hotel next door to the casino.
There are a few pull-thru sites down the middle and back-ins all around the edge. There are very few trees. Satellite TV is easy! There is no cable and no sewers but there is a convenient dump station. Sites are just long enough for a 38' motorhome to fit on the concrete drive but there is enough gravel in the front of the site to park your car. There is a concrete patio and a picnic table. We would stay here agin. We HAVE stayed here again! We had a level, gravel, pull through, FHU site that was satellite friendly.
The Wi-Fi was fine for our minimal e-mail and web surfing needs.

The bathrooms were clean and the laundry facility was large, clean, and reasonable. I saw no recycling. Interior roads are all dusty or muddy gravel. If you are north of the lake you get constant highway noise from I but south of the lake, where we were, the highway noise is much less. Our site had a level concrete pad to park on with utilities well placed. Sites are a decent size with lots of grass.

Verizon signal was good. The attractions for families are a choice of swimming in the nice pool or a very large wading pond.

An air conditioned clubhouse with a TV and games. A lot of things have been updated since our last stay two years ago so things are looking very nice. As noted, this is a membership park. We stayed here for five nights and found getting a reservation easy using email during their off season.

Staff was friendly at reception and whenever encountered in park. Roads are gravel and can be dusty when dry and a bit muddy when wet. My own observation is a number of contractors, workers, etc are using the park as their home base with families and as our site was off main road, a lot of constant traffic flowed past. We had a small back in site going back to back with another RV and one on each side of us they were optimizing their space. Other areas appeared to have more space between RVs then ours. Appears much to do for families with a man made beach, swimming pool, fishing lake, etc.
No dog park however plenty of room to walk around and a 10' leash policy. Wi fi works well but better late evening. Plenty of restaurants, box and local shops in immediate area off US Main item for me with park is location is between two major interstates - I and I which has heavy truck traffic This is a good location to make your way for trains, etc if coming to visit Chicago area.
We would come back again but try to get a different site from a noise and space perspective. This is the 3rd year that we have camped on site of the Chicagoland Speedway for the summer race weekend in July.

Check in began this year at 9am on Thursday: They need to work on better moving people to where they need to be, instead of mixing infield, speedway ridge and lakeside into 3 lines and then directing where to go. I think they need to open 3 different gates to make it easier and faster getting to your site and setting up. You must have the decals sent from the track affixed to the front windshield of the tow vehicle and the other on a window of your trailer. Once arriving at the campground entrance gate, we were greeted again and given two welcome packets filled with advertisements and information and nice little gift.
We had no problems finding our spot as they are all are clearly marked. We had plenty of room with our 40 foot trailer on one spot and our friends 24 foot on the other. The ticket tent is easily located at the front of the campground. The waste management trucks travel throughout the campground throughout the day for those wishing to use their service.

The portable toilets were way cleaner this year than past years. However there could be more throughout the campground. They did not have enough toilets in my opinion. The shower truck was very nice and clean. The only problem with the shower truck is that it is open from 6: A big line started to form from 7: They have great water pressure and are hot instantly. They are not timed so you can shower as long as you wish thus the problem of the long line! Overall the campground is very clean and well kept. Grass could have been cut shorter.
