I was dying on the inside and wondering…what the heck is this dude doing? That I was going to be so turned on by all his sweet moves of twists and bends, that I was going to pounce his bones right then and there?

In fact, this was doing the opposite of turning me on…I was dying on the inside! After about five different body positions of bending and twirling, the horror had finally come to an end. What was this guy…. The One Man Trapeze Act? As he stopped massaging me, he was a little out of breath and wiped some sweat from his head. With a sheepish smile, he asked me if I enjoyed the massage. Wide eyed, and completely mortified at how odd it had been…I just slowly nodded my head yes. This is when he told me that he needed a drink of water, and that he would be back momentarily.

Food is Medicine

He reassured me that when he got back, we would watch another movie. As he went upstairs, I knew I wanted to leave immediately and no way in hell was I about to spend the night with this guy. Who knows what bends and twists he had in mind for the little sleep over that he casually invited me to. This guy was a little odd, and I was also not interested in watching another movie with him either.

I just wanted to leave as soon as possible. Before I could think of a good excuse, he was coming back down the stairs. With this excuse, I told him that I urgently had to leave!

Ha-ha looking back, that is the lamest excuse in the book! How could I not come up with something better? Any half-normal man had to know that it was always a complete lie when a woman uses that particular excuse to bail. However, I did not care at the time. I just wanted a sure way of getting out of having to stay at his house for another movie… and heaven forbid having to stay the night!

I knew this would never happen, however I just agreed so that he would let me leave with no trouble. He walked me up the stairs and to my car, giving me a hug and telling me he would see me soon.

See a Problem?

I knew I would never being seeing Mr. One Man Trapeze Act again. I pretty much peeled out of the driveway I was leaving so quickly! I do not remember exactly how I told him I was not going to be coming back for the sleep over, but I definitely did! He and I never talked again after this date. I am confident that after I bailed on the sleep-over, he got the hint that I was not feeling it. Ummm…Did that actually just happen? This next story happened somewhat recently. It was this last January, and I was back on bumble.

Online Date Disaster

I had been swiping right when I came across this handsome man with a dark full beard. He was definitely that rugged man I am naturally attracted to. He also swiped right, and it was a match! After a brief introduction on bumble…we exchanged phone numbers, social media handles, and began the talking via text. This is how our first conversations went over the next several days.

As you can tell we were flirty but casual. Soon we had plans to meet up. He had basically invited himself over to my condo one evening. One thing that annoyed me right off was the fact that he did not actually invite me out to dinner or anything of that sort. This is usually never a good sign ladies. If he is not willing to take you out on the first few dates…he might not be looking for something super serious. That…or he is too poor to take you out to dinner. If he truly cannot afford to take you out to one dinner, then he definitely is not in a financial situation to be dating.

No offense but if that is the case at our age…then we probably would not work out anyways. However, I am a hard working woman who wants a man with his head on his shoulders. I am 27 and do not have time to wait around for him to figure out his money problems.

When he showed up, I greeted him at the bottom of the stairs to my house and gave him a hug. One thing I noticed was he rather smelled not very fresh. He definitely needed a shower. He knew this and told me he had come straight from work and apologized. He was an attractive man, and I was not completely un-impressed with his looks. With this being the case, I let the smell slide and figured that boys will be boys. The only problem is…I want a man not a boy.

Sometimes my actions do not show this very well ha-ha. We made our way up to my apartment, and I gave him a grand tour of the place. After I showed him around, we got settled into my couch to watch a movie what else is there to do? We turned on the TV, which was basically for background noise…and we started chatting. The conversation was easy and flowed very well.
